Authora Care Collective is currently seeking an RN Admissions. This position is Full-time Saturday, Sunday and Monday 8:00am - 9:00pm supporting our Greensboro and Burlington service areas. CPR certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.
Job SummaryThese functions/duties include but are not necessarily limited to the following: explains hospice services to patients and families and assists with the signing of consent documents. Coordinates, collaborates and develops a plan of care with patients, significant others, and members of the interdisciplinary team to focus and assure patient-centered outcomes. Assesses, plans, implements, documents, organizes, prioritizes, teaches, delegates, supervises, and coordinates the care of adult and geriatric patients (initial assessment, planning, coordination, evaluation, and teaching), providing care and support to terminally ill patients and their families, and performs other nursing duties as requested.

Education and Experience:
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
- Must be currently licensed as an RN in North Carolina and in good standing with NCBON.
- One year of experience in an acute, hospice, home health setting, or long-term care setting.
- Bachelor's degree in nursing is a plus.
- Two years of experience is a plus.
- CPR certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.
- Valid state-issued driver's license required. Must carry automobile liability insurance at limits required by agency. Must have own transportation.
