Pineview serves men and women with varying levels of IDD. Person‑centered programs focus on reducing the rate of loss of skills that accompany the physical aspects of the aging process and maintaining independence. The primary purpose of this position is to provide direct clinical services and medication and treatment administration. This LPN performs and documents nursing procedures and techniques as prescribed by the physician and outlined in the Person‑Centered Plan.

This LPN performs duties under the supervision of a Registered Nurse and works with the RN in planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care.

• Must be licensed to practice as a registered nurse in North Carolina or in a participating Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state.
• Successful candidate must be able to pass Healthcare Provider CPR and Non‑Violent Crisis Intervention (NVCI) written and physical requirements as a condition of employment.
• Successful candidate must have a valid Driver License.

• A sign‑on bonus of $4,000 may be offered to the successful applicant(s) of this posting, contingent on the 2025‑2026 Budget Approval.*

This position is designated as mandatory and must report or stay over during adverse weather events.

1st shift – 6:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. (10% weekend premium). 2nd shift – 2:30 p.m. to 11 p.m. (15% weekday & 25% weekend premium). 3rd shift – 10:45 p.m. to 6:45 a.m. (20% weekday & 30% weekend premium).

Murdoch Developmental Center is a 24/7 state residential facility located in Butner, NC, near the Research Triangle area. Murdoch serves individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities (I/DD). Murdoch is a caring community where professionals work with people of various ages, cognitive and functional abilities.
