Travel RN - Operating Room - Cardiovascular​/CVOR

Position: Travel RN - Operating Room - Cardiovascular OR/CVOR
American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a CVOR position requiring open heart OR experience, LVAD/Impella proficiency, and on-call availability on a 4x10 day shift schedule.

Job Details

• Position is in a Cardiovascular OR (CVOR) setting within a hospital,

• Cardiovascular surgical cases include CABG, mitral/tricuspid/aortic valve replacement and repair, aortic dissections, pericardial window, thoracotomies, and VATS,

• Robotic experience in chest cases is preferred,

• Schedule is 4x10-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM-5:30 PM,

• On-call is required with a 30-minute response time - non-negotiable,

• Epic EMR experience is required,

• Scrub experience is strongly preferred,

Job Requirements

• Active NC or Compact RN license required,

• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required,

• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required,

• Open heart OR experience is required,

• LVAD and Impella experience required,

• ECMO experience required,

• Epic EMR experience required,

• Valid driver's license required,

• Two professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration,

Additional Information

• First-time travelers will be considered only if they have open heart OR experience,

• All RNs must pass a Pass/Fail EKG exam during compliance - two attempts are allowed; study materials will not be provided by the facility, so candidates should prepare in advance,

• Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to qualify for the travel pay rate,

• Zero-tolerance policy for tardiness and unexcused absences
