Travel RN - Operating Room - Cardiovascular​/CVOR

Position: Travel RN - Operating Room - Cardiovascular OR/CVOR
American Traveler is seeking an experienced CVOR RN with open heart OR experience and LVAD/Impella skills for a cardiovascular operating room travel contract in North Carolina.

Job Details

• Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) setting within a hospital environment,

• Patient population includes open heart surgery cases such as CABG, mitral/tricuspid/aortic valve replacement and repair, aortic dissections, pericardial window, thoracotomies, and VATS,

• Robotic experience in chest cases is preferred,

• Schedule is 4x10-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM,

• On-call is required with a 30-minute response time (non-negotiable),

• Epic EMR experience is mandatory,

• Scrub experience is strongly preferred,

Job Requirements

• Active NC or Compact RN license required,

• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required,

• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required,

• Open heart OR experience is required,

• ECMO experience required,

• LVAD and Impella experience required,

• Epic EMR experience is mandatory,

• Two professional supervisor references from within the past 2 years required for consideration,

• Copy of driver's license required for consideration,

Additional Information

• All RNs must pass a Pass/Fail EKG exam during compliance, with two attempts allowed - candidates should prepare in advance as study materials are not provided,

• First-time travelers are not considered for this position unless they have open heart OR experience,

• Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position,

• Zero-tolerance policy for tardiness and unexcused absences is enforced,

• 13-week contract
