Active Registered Nurse license required
Certifications:
ACLS, BLS required
Must-Have:
- ECMO, LVAD, Impella experience required
- Scrub experience strongly preferred
- Experience with CABG, Mitral, Tricuspid, and Aortic valve replacement or repair, Aortic dissections, pericardial window, and chest cases like Thoracotomies and VATS preferred
- Robotic experience in chest cases preferred
- Previous charge experience is desirable
- Epic charting system experience required
Description:
This position is for a Registered Nurse specializing in Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR).
The role involves circulating and scrubbing in open heart surgeries.
Candidates must be flexible with scheduling and comply with a strict attendance policy.
A mandatory EKG exam is required, with a pass/fail outcome.
Candidates should be comfortable managing ECMO and various assist devices.
Call is required with a 30-minute response time.
This position requires a strong clinical background in cardiovascular surgeries and the ability to work within a team.
All candidates must complete compliance requirements in a timely manner before the start date.
No first-time travelers are accepted unless they possess open heart OR experience.
