American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele unit position requiring a minimum of 2 years of RN experience and Epic proficiency, with night shifts and an EKG exam requirement during onboarding.

• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• Every other weekend (EOW) required
• Holiday coverage required as needed
• Floating across all system facilities may be required
• Patient population is primarily Medical/Surgical, with telemetry-capable unit
• Patient cases include observation, respiratory conditions, general med/surg diagnoses, palliative/end-of-life/hospice, psychiatric observation, diabetes management, and surgical patients
• EMR:
  Epic (experience mandatory)

• Active NC RN license or valid Compact RN license required
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Epic EMR experience is mandatory
• Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to qualify for travel rates
• Two professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration
• Copy of driver's license required for consideration

• All RNs must pass a Pass/Fail EKG exam during onboarding — two attempts are allowed; candidates should prepare in advance as study materials will not be provided by the facility
• Previous Charge RN experience is preferred
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Zero-tolerance policy for tardiness and unexcused absences
