Medical Surgical Telemetry RN Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Day shift, 3x12 hours (07:00 - 19:30). Floating required across all facilities.

The Medical Surgical Telemetry RN will provide care for observation patients, including those with respiratory conditions, general medical-surgical diagnoses, palliative and hospice patients, psychiatric observation, and diabetic complications. The candidate will be responsible for monitoring telemetry patients and administering medications and treatments as needed.

• Monitor telemetry patients and interpret EKG results.
• Provide care for patients with varying medical diagnoses.
• Administer medications and treatments as per physician's orders.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for patient care.
• Conduct patient assessments and document findings using Epic charting system.

• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience, preferably in a charge nurse role.
• Current BLS certification required; ACLS and NIHSS certifications preferred.
• Must have valid RN licensure recognized by the state.
• Experience with Epic charting system is a must.
• Must pass an EKG exam during onboarding.
