American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele position specializing in inpatient renal care, requiring a minimum of 2 years of RN experience and Epic proficiency.

• Inpatient Med/Surg Telemetry unit in a hospital setting
• Patient population includes Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD), Acute Kidney Injury (AKI), End-Stage Renal Disease (ESRD), and general Med/Surg patients
• Nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:4–5
• Day shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
• Every 3rd weekend rotation required
• Holiday coverage required as needed
• Floating to other units may be required
• Epic EMR experience is required

• Active NC RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Telemetry experience required
• Epic EMR proficiency required
• Two professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration
• Copy of driver's license required for consideration

• First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
• All RNs must pass a Pass/Fail EKG exam during compliance; two attempts are allowed — candidates should prepare in advance as study materials will not be provided by the facility
• Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for the travel pay rate
• Zero-tolerance policy for tardiness and unexcused absences
