American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele position requiring a minimum of 2 years of RN experience and Epic proficiency, with a pass/fail EKG exam required during onboarding.
Details- Day shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
- Every other weekend (EOW) required
- Holiday coverage required as needed
- Patient population is primarily Med/Surg, with telemetry capability on the unit
- Patient population includes observation patients, respiratory conditions, general medical/surgical diagnoses, palliative/end-of-life/hospice, psychiatric observation, diabetic patients (including new diagnoses and complications), surgical and surgical observation patients
- Epic EMR experience is mandatory
- Floating required as needed; travelers may be floated across all facilities within the health system
- Active NC RN license or a Compact RN license currently in hand
- Current BLS certification required
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
- Epic EMR experience required
- Previous Charge RN experience preferred
- Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to qualify for travel rates
- Copy of driver's license (DL) required for consideration
- Two professional references from a direct supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration
- All RNs must pass a pass/fail EKG exam during onboarding, regardless of specialty — two attempts are allowed
- Study materials for the EKG exam will not be provided by the facility; candidates should prepare in advance
- The facility maintains a zero-tolerance policy for tardiness and unexcused absences
