RN Unit Manager

Job Summary:

At Linden Place Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation
, we value our employees and provide a supportive, team-oriented working environment where clinical excellence and compassionate care go hand in hand. We are seeking an experienced and compassionate RN Unit Manager to join our team in Greensboro, North Carolina
. As a Unit Manager, you will be responsible for supervising the delivery of care to residents, assessing resident needs, developing care plans, administering nursing care, and evaluating outcomes to ensure the highest quality of care.

Responsibilities:
  • Identify and participate in process improvement initiatives that enhance resident experience, improve workflow, and strengthen the work environment
  • Complete resident assessments at admission, discharge, and as needed
  • Supervise and support assigned nursing staff
  • Document services rendered for billing and regulatory compliance
  • Conduct daily rounds to monitor resident care and status
  • Implement nursing policies and procedures and educate staff according to facility guidelines
  • Assign duties to LPNs and nursing assistants as directed
  • Collaborate closely with the Director of Nursing to resolve concerns involving staff, residents, and families
  • Promote a positive, professional, and collaborative work environment
  • Review charting weekly for accuracy and completeness
  • Maintain a safe environment in compliance with infection control and safety standards
  • Respond to staffing shortages by coordinating coverage as needed
  • Monitor infection control, exposure control, and quality trends to support proactive improvements
  • Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned
Requirements:
  • Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • 1-3 years of related experience; supervisory experience preferred
  • Current/active CPR certification
  • Strong professionalism and ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Ability to work independently with flexibility, integrity, and strong collaboration skills
