Local Contract RN in Labor & Delivery for a 13‑week assignment in Greensboro, North Carolina. The role offers competitive pay up to $2,550 per week and comprehensive benefits.
Key Responsibilities:Provide comprehensive labor and delivery nursing care to patients, ensuring safety and comfort throughout labor, delivery, and postpartum stages.
Monitor fetal heart rates and maternal vital signs using electronic fetal monitoring systems and respond proactively to abnormalities.
Assist with cesarean sections and other obstetric procedures, maintaining sterile technique and supporting surgical teams as needed.
Educate and support patients and families about labor progression, postpartum care, and neonatal procedures, including resuscitation and NICU protocols.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including OB MDs, anesthesia, and neonatal staff, to coordinate patient care and optimize outcomes.
Valid RN license in North Carolina or ability to acquire one
BLS, ACLS, NRP, and EFM certifications
Minimum of 1+ years of current Labor & Delivery experience
Experience working with EMR systems such as Epic
Willingness to float within Region 3 facilities
Strong clinical skills in labor management, cesarean sections, and neonatal resuscitation
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Previous travel experience (preferred)
