CNA In-patient Unit

Job Summary

Provide compassionate, basic personal care for patients with limited life expectancy under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. Deliver comfort and sensitivity to patient and caregiver emotional concerns and needs. Respond appropriately to emergency situations. Maintain a clean, safe environment.

Full‑time (11:45 pm – 8:15 am) at our Hospice Inpatient Facility in Greensboro (Beacon Place) with the following schedule:

• Week 1:
  Saturday, Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday
• Week 2:
  Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday

Paid time off (PTO), seven paid holidays, flexible work schedules, medical, dental, vision, disability, and life insurance. Employee engagement activities and 403B match after 12 months of service.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of a nursing assistant program and familiarity with basic computer skills and functions.
• Currently listed as NA I with the NC Department of Human Services with no substantiated findings of neglect, abuse, or misappropriation of resident property.
• Effective verbal and written communication in English, excellent telephone communication skills.
• Valid state‑issued driver’s license required. Must carry automobile liability insurance at limits required by agency and have own transportation.
