Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) – Floater / Unit Support
Well‑Spring Retirement Community – Greensboro, NC
Schedule: Full‑Time | Day Shift (6:30 AM – 3:00 PM)
Well‑Spring Retirement Community is seeking a compassionate and dependable CNA Floater to support multiple Skilled Nursing units. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety in their day and is willing to step in where needed to support residents and team members.
As a Floater CNA, you will play a key role in ensuring consistent, high‑quality care by assisting across different units based on daily needs.
Schedule- 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
- Every Tuesday–Thursday
- Every other Monday & Friday
- Every other weekend (Saturday & Sunday)
Unit Support & Flexibility
- Report daily for unit assignment and provide support where coverage is needed
- Adapt to different units and team needs throughout the shift
Resident Care
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, toileting, transfers, and linen changes
- Provide comfort, companionship, and attentive care
- Monitor residents and report any changes to nursing staff
Dining & Mealtime Support
- Assist with meal setup, tray passing, and beverage service
- Help feed residents who require assistance
- Escort residents to and from meals and activities
Appointments & Daily Tasks
- Escort residents to on‑and off‑campus appointments
- Complete required documentation for appointments
Laundry & Supplies
- Ensure resident laundry is labeled and handled properly
- Restock supplies, including isolation carts and resident room items
- Maintain clean and organized work areas
- Previous long‑term care or healthcare experience preferred
- Comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment
- Strong teamwork, communication, and organizational skills
- Willingness to float between units and assist where needed
