American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Teleposition requiring a minimum of 2 years of RN experience, Epic proficiency, and the ability to pass a mandatory EKG exam during onboarding.

• Med/Surg Telemetry unit in a hospital setting
• Primary patient population is Medical/Surgical, with additional exposure to observation, respiratory, palliative/end‑of‑life/hospice, psychiatric observation, diabetic, and surgical patients
• Schedule:
  
  Days, 3x12‑hour shifts, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Every other weekend required; holiday coverage as needed
• Floating may be required across all system facilities
• Epic EMR experience is mandatory
• 13‑week contract

• Active NC or compact RN license required
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Epic EMR proficiency required
• Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
• Two professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration
• Copy of driver's license required for consideration

• Unit is posted as MS/Tele due to an EKG exam requirement for all RNs, although the primary patient population is Medical/Surgical
• All RNs must pass a pass/fail EKG exam during onboarding; two attempts are allowed
• Study materials for the EKG exam will not be provided by the facility — candidates should prepare in advance
• Previous Charge RN experience is preferred
• First‑time travelers are welcome to apply
• Zero‑tolerance policy for tardiness and unexcused absences
