Travel Medical-Surgical​/Telemetry Registered Nurse

Job Overview

Travel Nurse RN Telemetry – Greensboro, North Carolina. This is a travel nursing assignment (or local) with a start date of 06/01/2026. Duration: 13 weeks, 36 hours per week, 12‑hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM). The assignment is for the Med‑Surg Telemetry unit at Cone Health in Greensboro.

• Work a 12‑hour night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM.
• Follow an every‑other‑weekend schedule, with holidays as required.
• Float to other Cone Health facilities when census is low.
• Maintain a patient ratio of 6:1 on all shifts.
• Provide care for observation patients, respiratory conditions, general medical‑surgical diagnoses, palliative/end‑of‑life/hospice patients, psychiatric observation, diabetes patients, and surgical patients.
• Manage BiPAP/CPAP therapy, blood‑product administration, chest tubes, colostomy/ileostomy care, feeding tubes, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, telemetry monitoring, wound care, and various medical equipment.
• Adhere to a zero‑tolerance policy for tardiness and unexcused absences.
• Complete all compliance requirements by 12 noon EST the Wednesday prior to the start date.

• Minimum 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience.
• First‑time travelers accepted.
• Must pass an EKG exam during onboarding (up to 2 attempts).
• BLS certification required; ACLS and NIHSS certifications preferred.
• EPIC charting system experience required.
• Previous Charge RN experience preferred.
• Active referral bonus of $750 available.
• No locals within 50‑mile radius will be considered.

• Travel stipend (tax‑free) and pay package based on 12‑hour shifts (36 hrs wk). Tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
• 48‑hour orientation period.
