Schedule:
This position is 40 hours per week. Working at our High Point and both Greensboro locations within a work week is required. The hours are 8:00am to 5:00pm Monday‑Friday. Pay Range: $35.50 – $53.25.
Collects data pertinent to the healthcare consumer's health or the situation. Analyzes the assessment data to determine actual or potential diagnoses, problems, and issues. Identifies expected outcomes for a plan individualized to the healthcare consumer or the situation. Develops a plan that prescribes strategies to attain expected, measurable outcomes. Implements the identified plan, coordinates care delivery, and employs strategies to promote health and a safe environment.
Delegates elements of care to appropriate health care workers in accordance with any applicable legal or policy parameters or principles. Evaluates progress toward attainment of goals and outcomes. Practices in a manner that is congruent with cultural diversity and inclusion principles. Communicates effectively in all areas of practice. Collaborates with healthcare consumer and other key stakeholders in the conduct of nursing practice.
Demonstrates leadership in the professional practice setting and the profession. Seeks knowledge and competence that reflects current nursing practice and promotes futuristic thinking. Integrates evidence and research findings into practice. Contributes to quality nursing practice. Evaluates one's own and other's nursing practice in relation to professional practice standards and guidelines, relevant statutes, rules and regulations. - Monitors patient conditions, adjusts care plans, mobilizes resources, and collaborates with the care team to influence care outcomes.

- Continuously evaluates patient, team, and unit outcomes, taking action as needed.
- May administer medications, treatments, and therapies safely and according to clinical protocols and procedures.

- Appropriate delegation to other Registered Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses, and unlicensed assistive personnel (e.g., nurse aides, credentialed medical assistants).
- Maintains accurate, timely EHR documentation.
- May be required to float to other units, departments, care areas, or facilities within the designated service area to meet patient care needs.
- Must demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served.
- Must demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span and possess the ability to assess data reflective of the patient’s status and interpret the appropriate information needed to identify each patient’s requirements relative to their age‑specific needs, and to provide the care needed as described in the department’s policies and procedures.
