- Provide competent direct patient care based on established standards under the direction of leadership.
- Contribute to unit activities and support enhancement of the care delivery system at the unit level.
- Support peers in the delivery of patient care services and assume expanded roles such as charge nurse, preceptor, or committee member.
- Perform telephone triage of patient calls and consult with care providers.
- Administer medications and injections as ordered.
- Obtain vital signs and record medical, surgical, and family histories, allergies, and current medications.
- Document symptoms or concerns in the electronic medical record.
- Perform point‑of‑care testing, including pregnancy testing, urinalysis, and catheterization as needed.
- Assist with office procedures such as colposcopy, biopsy, sonography, and related tasks.
- Review charts, ensure office compliance with Joint Commission regulations, and schedule patient appointments.
- Handle general office duties as necessary to support the OB‑GYN office.
- Act as a team player, proficient in electronic medical records, and flexible to evolving demands.
- Registered Nurse (RN) with experience in women's health and ambulatory care preferred.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Proficiency using electronic medical records.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing patient and office needs.
