Travel RN - Emergency Dept

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a travel Emergency Department position requiring a minimum of 2 years of ED experience, Epic proficiency, and night shift availability.

Requirements

• Active NC or Compact RN license required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
• Preferred certifications: CPI, PALS, and TNCC
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience in an Emergency Department required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Previous Charge RN experience preferred
• Level 2 Trauma experience preferred
• Valid driver s license copy required for consideration
• Two professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration
• Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to qualify for this position

Responsibilities

• Hospital Emergency Department (ED) setting
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• 2 weekend shifts (or 4 weekend days) required per 6-week schedule
• Holiday coverage required as needed
• No on-call responsibilities
• 13-week contract
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• All RNs must pass a Pass/Fail EKG exam during compliance, regardless of specialty — two attempts are allowed
• Candidates should prepare for the EKG exam independently in advance, as study materials will not be provided by the facility
• Zero-tolerance policy for tardiness and unexcused absences
• Scheduling flexibility is expected
