Labor and Delivery Nurse

Provide specialized nursing care to women during labor, delivery, and postpartum stages in a hospital setting. Ensure the safety and well-being of both mother and baby through skilled clinical interventions and monitoring.

• Assess and monitor maternal and fetal status throughout labor and delivery.
• Administer medications and manage pain relief as prescribed.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement care plans.
• Perform labor checks, triage, and postpartum assessments.
• Operate and document using EPIC electronic medical records system.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, including required certifications and exams.

• Current, active RN license in state of practice.
• Minimum of 2 years labor and delivery nursing experience.
• Pass the Pass/Fail EKG exam required by the facility.
• Hold AWHONN Beginner/Intermediate, FHM, NRP, and BLS certifications; ACLS and AWHONN Advanced preferred.
• Experience with EPIC EMR system required.
• Ability to float across multiple facilities as needed.
