Medical Surgical/Tele Nurse

Provide direct nursing care to medical-surgical and telemetry patients in a fast-paced hospital environment. Ensure patient safety, adhere to clinical protocols, and support patient recovery through compassionate care.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications, treatments, and diagnostic tests according to physician orders.
• Monitor patient vitals and respond promptly to changes in condition.
• Document patient progress accurately in electronic health records.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care.
• Educate patients and families on health management and discharge instructions.

Qualifications:

• Valid and active Registered Nurse license required.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent medical-surgical and telemetry experience.
• Knowledge of EPIC electronic health record system required.
• BLS certification required; passing an EKG exam during onboarding.
• Ability to work night shifts (3×12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM).
• Flexibility to float across all hospital campuses as needed.
