Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant - Geriatric Primary Care SCHEDULE

  • Full-Time

COMPENSATION
  • $135,000 to $150,000+ Annual Compensation
  • $60 to $65+ per Hour, negotiable based on experience

They currently boast a team of more than 12 physicians, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants who, along with nursing, clinical, and administrative staff, ensure that patients receive the best medical care possible while working to remove access barriers.

POSITION

DESCRIPTION

The Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant is responsible for delivering comprehensive primary care to a dedicated panel of geriatric patients.

Patients are seen in private homes, assisted and independent living facilities, and other group settings.

  • coordination with other providers as needed

Providers see an average of six (6) patients per day. Based on patient need, more visits may be scheduled and are reimbursed per visit in addition to the hourly salary.

This requires providers to build and maintain therapeutic relationships with patients and caregivers, including emotional support and education.

REQUIREMENTS
  • North Carolina NP or PA license
  • DEA
  • 1+ year advanced practice experience
  • previous home health or long-term care facility experience
  • strong background in geriatric care
