Our client is looking for a Registered Nurse, Surgery (Operating Room)
Role - Registered Nurse, Surgery (Operating Room)
Location:
Rutherfordton, NC
Duration:
Permanent Full-time
Key Responsibilities
- Perform thorough pre-, intra-, and post-operative assessments to ensure safe and effective patient care.
- Anticipate the needs of the surgical team and actively support an efficient OR workflow.
- Provide age- and procedure-appropriate nursing care throughout the entire perioperative process.
- Maintain accurate, comprehensive, and timely documentation in the medical record.
- Collaborate seamlessly with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and surgical technologists to deliver optimal patient outcomes.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Experience: 2+ years of Surgery and Operating Room Circulating RN experience is required
. - Education: Associate’s degree in nursing required;
Bachelor’s Degree (BSN) preferred. - Licensure: Current North Carolina State RN License or Compact License with North Carolina endorsement.
- Certifications:
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required within 90 days of hire.
