LPN, LPN​/LVN, RN Nurse

Cone Health is seeking a part-time Day Shift LPN to join our Moses Cone Orthopedics team. In this role, you will deliver compassionate bedside care to orthopedic and post-surgical patients, administer medications, support mobility and rehabilitation, and assist with procedures such as casting and wound care. You will document in the EHR, collaborate closely with RNs, physicians, and therapists, and educate patients and families on recovery plans.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to orthopedic patients under RN and provider supervision
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and Cone Health protocols
• Monitor, document, and report patient status, pain levels, and post-surgical progress
• Assist with orthopedic procedures, casting, splinting, and mobility support
• Educate patients and families on post-op care, medications, and rehabilitation plans
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate safe, quality care
• Maintain accurate electronic health records and comply with regulatory standards
