• Minimum 2 years of experience required in Emergency Department (ED).
• Travel experience is not explicitly required, but first-time travelers are accepted.
• Previous Charge RN experience is preferred.
• Trauma Level II experience is preferred.

Required:

• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
• Basic Life Support (BLS)
• National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
• EPIC charting system experience

Preferred:

• Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI)
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
• Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC)

• Skills in arterial line management, BiPAP/CPAP management, blood product administration, care of ventilated patients, central line care/management, continuous IV sedation, CVA management, emergency department (adult/pediatrics), gunshot wounds, head injury, ICP monitoring, arterial blood gases (ABGs) interpretation, dysrhythmias interpretation, isolation precautions/PPE use, IV vasopressors, management of dysrhythmias, neuro-trauma, orthopedic trauma, phlebotomy, procedural sedation administration/monitoring, spinal cord injury management, starting and maintaining IVs, STEMI certified facility interaction, stroke certified facility interaction, traumatic amputation, traumatic brain injury, triage, and EKG/dysrhythmia interpretation.
• Required to pass a compliance EKG exam (two attempts allowed).
• EPIC electronic medical record (EMR) experience is required.

• Third-party education verification is required.
• Degrees from schools on the Florida Diploma Fraud Audit list will not be accepted.
• Active nursing license must be in hand upon submission.

• COVID-19 and Flu vaccines are required, with medical or religious exemptions allowed.

• All required modules are non-billable and completed during orientation.
• No local candidates within a 50-mile radius.
• Current driver's license required to verify address.
