American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a high-acuity Progressive Care Unit (PCU) position requiring cardiac telemetry experience and a NC or compact RN license.

• Work in a high-level, high-functioning Progressive Care Unit (PCU) with multiple long-term patients
• 1:5 patient ratio
• 3x12 hour day shifts, 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• Weekend and holiday rotation required
• No call responsibilities
• Floating required between all Cone Health campuses as needed
• Epic EMR experience required

• Active RN license (NC or Compact) in hand at time of consideration
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Cardiac telemetry experience required
• Experience with management and interpretation of dysrhythmias
• Peripheral line care/management and PICC line management experience
• Experience titrating drips
• Must pass a Pass/Fail EKG competency exam during compliance (2 attempts allowed)

• Manage and interpret cardiac dysrhythmias for a complex, high-acuity patient population
• Provide peripheral and PICC line care and management
• Titrate cardiac and vasoactive drips as needed
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility; no local candidates within this radius will be considered
• RTO must be submitted with the initial application; no post-submission RTO requests accepted
