American Traveler is hiring an experienced Emergency Department RN for a night shift assignment requiring 2+ years of ED experience and NC/compact RN licensure.

• Emergency Department serving combined adult/pediatric patients
• Level I and II Trauma Center capabilities with STEMI and Stroke certification
• Patient ratios of 1:4-5 depending on staffing and volume
• Night shift, 3x12 hours, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Weekend commitment of 2 weekend shifts or 4 weekend days per 6 weeks
• Holiday coverage required as needed
• No on-call requirements
• EPIC EMR experience required
• May float to any campus within the health system as needed

• Active NC or compact RN license required in hand at time of consideration
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department RN experience required
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• CPI, PALS, and TNCC certifications preferred
• EPIC charting system experience required
• Previous Charge RN experience preferred
• Level II Trauma Center experience preferred
• Skills in arterial line management, ICP monitoring, neuro-trauma, spinal cord injury, and traumatic brain injury care preferred
• Triage and ortho trauma experience preferred
• Must pass a compliance EKG exam with up to two attempts allowed

• Provide emergency care across a wide range of cases including trauma, cardiac, neurological, orthopedic, and pediatric emergencies
• Manage dysrhythmia interpretation and cardiac monitoring response
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility
• Local candidates within the 50-mile radius are not eligible for this position
• RTO must be submitted with the initial application; no post-submission time off requests accepted
