Certified Medication Aide Day Shift

Southern Health Partners Inc seeks a Certified Medication Aide for day shift to support healthcare delivery in correctional facilities. The CMA will safely administer medications, document treatments, monitor vitals, and report changes in patient condition to nursing staff. You'll partner with RNs and LPNs to ensure continuity of care, maintain medication security, and follow all state, facility, and SHP protocols. • Administer prescribed medications to patients on day shift following established protocols and state regulations
• Verify medication orders, dosages, and patient identity, maintaining strict medication security and safety standards
• Accurately document all medication administration and patient responses in medical records or EMR systems
• Monitor and record vital signs, reporting changes in patient condition to RNs or LPNs promptly
• Assist nursing staff with basic patient care tasks and support overall treatment plans
• Maintain a clean, safe clinical environment in compliance with infection control and facility policies
• Communicate professionally with correctional staff while maintaining patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance
• Participate in ongoing training, quality assurance, and compliance initiatives to support facility health and safety
