Travel Nurse Source  is working with Concentric Healthcare Staffing to find a qualified IMC RN in Greensboro, North Carolina, 27401!

Registered Nurse – IMC/PCU/Stepdown (Cardiac)

Greensboro, NC | Progressive Care Unit / Stepdown

Contract | Nights | 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Onsite

• Provide progressive care-level nursing for a primary cardiac patient population including acute coronary syndrome, pre and post cardiac catheterization (with and without intervention), rule-out myocardial infarction, arrhythmias, syncope, stable STEMI, NSTEMI, new onset and chronic A-fib, Tikosyn load, and pre/post EP lab for pacemaker and/or ICD placement
• Manage secondary population including new onset and chronic heart failure, as well as overflow progressive care level patients
• Utilize and monitor TR Bands, Central Lines, PICC lines, and CVP monitoring
• Participate in and coordinate with rapid response teams as needed
• Document and manage patient care using EPIC EMR
• Fulfill weekend shift commitment (approximately 5 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule); subject to float across multiple campuses as needed

• Active RN license — must be in hand at time of submission
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience; cardiac telemetry and PCU experience required
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Must pass a compliance EKG exam (2 attempts allowed)
• Must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

• Experience with post-MI care and pre/post cardiac catheterization lab patients
• Familiarity with EP lab procedures including pacemaker and ICD placement
• Experience managing heart failure patients in a progressive care setting
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
