Travel Nurse Source  is working with Concentric Healthcare Staffing to find a qualified IMC RN in Greensboro, North Carolina, 27401!

Registered Nurse – IMC/PCU/Stepdown (Cardiac)

Greensboro, NC | Acute Care

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)

• Provide progressive care-level nursing for a cardiac-focused patient population including acute coronary syndrome, pre and post cardiac catheterization with and without intervention, rule-out myocardial infarction, stable STEMI, NSTEMI, arrhythmias, syncope, and chest pain
• Manage new onset and chronic atrial fibrillation, Tikosyn loads, and pre and post EP lab patients undergoing pacemaker and/or ICD placement
• Care for secondary population including new onset and chronic heart failure, as well as overflow progressive care level patients
• Utilize rapid response teams as clinically indicated
• Perform and monitor TR Bands, Central Lines, PICC lines, and CVP monitoring
• Document and manage patient care using EPIC EMR; subject to float across multiple campuses as needed

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license — must be in hand at time of submission
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Cardiac Telemetry and PCU experience required
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Must pass a compliance EKG exam (2 attempts allowed)
• Must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

• Experience with post-MI care and pre/post cardiac catheterization lab patients
• Familiarity with rapid response team protocols in a progressive or step-down care environment
• Experience with CVP monitoring and management of central and PICC lines
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
