BLS; CNOR preferred but not required Must-Have: A minimum of 5 years of experience in the operating room. Current BLS certification.
Description:
This position is for an Operating Room Nurse in a busy surgical department. The facility has 19 operating rooms with an average of 50 cases per day. Surgical specialties include trauma, orthopedic trauma, total joints, spine, vascular, gynecology, gynecology-oncology, robotics, general surgery, bariatrics, and more. The ideal candidate will have experience circulating in a variety of surgical cases. Robotics experience is a plus, but not mandatory.
The candidate must be flexible, self-driven, and a motivated team player. Travelers are expected to work weekends and holidays as needed. Scheduled weekend shifts or call coverage will be required. Call response time is 45 minutes. Normal shift times may vary based on department needs. Preferred candidates should have strong skills in case management in an operating room setting. This role requires a committed professional who can handle fast-paced environments and differing case requests.
