Inspector - 18160 Description
The Lead Inspector will ensure that all incoming and outgoing materials go through the proper levels of inspection, according to both AAR and ISO 9000 standards.
What you will be responsible for:- Lead outgoing and/or incoming inspection.
- Process incoming and outgoing material.
- Enforce Quality Control requirements per the ISO 9000 and customer requirements per the ISO 9000 and customer requirements manual.
- Administer effective training and on the job training of Quality Control inspectors.
- Assist Quality Manager in reviewing and updating department standards.
- Interface with different departments in AAC/ATC
- All other duties as assigned.
- This position requires compliance with International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). Candidates must be a U.S. Person as defined by ITAR (U.S. citizen, U.S. national, lawful permanent resident, or individual admitted as a refugee or granted asylum).
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- FAA Airframe & Powerplant License required.
- Associates degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or four (4) years’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Previous aircraft inspection experience is a plus; strong leadership, interpersonal and communication skills required.
