Monitor quality control program designed to ensure food safety consistent with established company and regulatory standards. Functions as a team member within the department and organization, as required, and performs any duty assigned to best serve the company
Primary Responsibilities- Maintain and control an effective quality assurance program/food safety procedures and practices, including daily product testing and verification
- Assist with the monthly self‑audit of the operation to determine the level of compliance with the good manufacturing practices (GMP), Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP), and company policies relating to food safety
- Ensure overall compliance with government food regulatory agencies and other applicable regulations, including state‑specific regulatory programs
- Ensure compliance with the Food Safety Plan / SQF program
- Prepare the facility to successfully achieve and maintain SQF Status
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Comply with all policies and standards
Required
Education:
High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent Experience
Work Experience:
6 Months - 1 Year Quality control within food service industry and related regulatory compliance laws
