EHS Coordinator
Greensboro, NC:
On Site Shift: Day Shift
This role is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) programs while ensuring compliance with OSHA and other regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will be passionate about workplace safety, employee training, risk reduction, and fostering a strong safety culture throughout the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain EHS policies and procedures.
- Conduct facility safety audits, inspections, and hazard assessments.
- Lead Job Hazard Analyses (JHA) and identify opportunities for risk reduction.
- Investigate workplace incidents, accidents, and near misses; recommend corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, state, and federal safety regulations.
- Deliver safety training programs for employees and supervisors.
- Partner with operations leadership to promote a proactive safety culture.
- Maintain EHS records, reports, and compliance documentation.
- Monitor safety metrics and recommend continuous improvement initiatives.
- Coordinate Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), confined space, fall protection, and other safety programs.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Occupational Health, Engineering, or related field preferred.
- 3+ years of EHS, Safety, or Environmental Health & Safety experience in a manufacturing, industrial, warehouse, or production environment.
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
- Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and workplace safety practices.
- Experience conducting safety audits, inspections, and incident investigations.
- Experience developing and implementing safety programs and procedures.
- Strong communication, leadership, and training skills.
- Ability to influence employees and management at all levels.
Preferred Qualifications:
- OSHA 30, OSHA 510, ASP, CSP, CHST, or other safety certifications.
- Experience with Job Hazard Analysis (JHA), LOTO, confined space, and fall protection programs.
- Experience supporting multi-shift manufacturing operations.
Compensation: $60,000 - $70,000 annually, depending on experience, qualifications, and certifications.
