Regulatory Compliance Specialist
• Manage the overall operations of the Quality and Regulatory Department
• Direct and supervise lead and managerial staff
• Serve as a senior staff member supporting, educating, motivating, and directing the Quality Assurance and Regulatory Affairs team
• Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices and state, federal, and international regulatory standards
• Maintain quality standards for vendors
• Anticipate, evaluate, and control risks associated with industry and government regulations
• Ensure timely completion of team projects
• Predict, detect, estimate, and measure product defects
• Oversee labeling changes, including allergen, ingredient, warning, and nutrient-content labeling
• Develop, implement, and train staff on departmental policies and procedures
• Identify areas for improvement and quality enhancement
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure required information is available
• Manage the Quality Control Department and provide information on label reviews, vendor issues, and manufacturing changes
• Ensure drugs, dietary supplements, cosmetics, and skin-care products are manufactured, tested, stored, and distributed according to cGMP and applicable regulations
• Comply with company policies and procedures
• Perform other duties as assigned
- PhD in Chemistry or related field preferred
- 10+ years of experience in Quality Control, Pharmaceutical, Science Operations, and staff supervision
- Must work on site at the Greensboro, North Carolina offices
- Must be authorized to work without company sponsorship;

Proven ability to lead and develop teams while managing quality standards and risk assessment in the pharmaceutical and dietary supplement industries.
