What You’ll Do Business Development- Proactively identify, pursue, and secure new enterprise‑level client relationships.
- Build a self‑generated pipeline leveraging your industry network and market knowledge.
- Lead discovery, develop strategy briefs, and guide clients toward high‑ROI direct marketing solutions.
- Serve as a trusted advisor by connecting client objectives with Salem One’s full suite of capabilities.
- Deliver presentations, marketing insights, industry trends, and performance reviews.
- Continuously bring innovation, analytics insights, and new ideas that enhance client results.
- Represent Salem One at national conferences and industry events.
- Utilize research and analytics platforms to support client decision‑making.
- Stay current on best practices, emerging tech, and marketing trends.
- Proven experience in sales, marketing, or direct marketing with a track record of building revenue‑producing relationships.
- Ability to sell consultatively using data, analytics, and ROI‑focused positioning.
- Outstanding communication, presentation, and relationship‑building abilities.
- Strong business acumen including financial literacy and strategic thinking.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
- Ability to travel as needed.
- Are a self‑starter who excels in autonomy and owns outcomes
- Have a strong professional network within direct marketing, print, or related industries
