Technical Sales Engineer

Technical Sales Engineer opportunity in Greensboro, NC with a growing international manufacturer of HVAC and thermal-management systems for on-road and off-road vehicles.

This role is ideal for someone who combines a technical background with a strong sales mindset
. The company is specifically looking for someone who enjoys developing new business, reaching out to prospects, building relationships, and moving opportunities through the full sales process.

What you’ll be doing:

• Prospecting and developing new customer opportunities
• Conducting proactive outreach to new leads and potential accounts
• Managing incoming RFQs and working with customers to understand project requirements
• Leading discovery calls and meetings to better understand customer needs
• Developing technical and commercial proposals
• Presenting solutions and explaining technical concepts to customers
• Managing negotiations and following opportunities through the closing process
• Working closely with internal teams to support prototypes, customer requirements, and overall customer satisfaction

What we’re looking for:

• 5+ years of experience in technical sales, sales engineering, business development, or a related role
• Strong new business development and prospecting experience
• Comfortable with cold outreach, lead generation, and actively pursuing new customers
• Experience selling technical, engineered, industrial, HVAC, automotive, heavy equipment, or similar products
• Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
• Ability to understand technical customer requirements and recommend solutions
• Must be located in the Greensboro area or open to relocation
