Position Summary

The Business Development Representative (BDR) is an outbound, field-based sales generator responsible for identifying, engaging, and qualifying new business opportunities for ATI. This role focuses on building early-stage relationships with multifamily property managers, facilities teams, commercial clients, insurance agents/brokers, maintenance managers, and other local referral sources.

As ATI's  front-line  market presence, the BDR prioritizes their time in the field performing structured outreach--new introductions, canvassing, hosting check-ins, and setting qualified meetings for Project Directors and other sales leaders. BDRs drive top-of-funnel pipeline growth, build brand visibility, and enhance ATI's presence in assigned territories.

Market Intelligence & Brand Building
  • Gather and communicate real-time insights on competitiveness, local events, property changes, and customer needs
  • Increase ATI visibility by distributing marketing materials, hosting drop-ins, and showing presence during weather events or property disruptions
  • Support ATI at trade shows, association meetings, sponsorship events, and community engagements
Collaboration & Handoff Execution
  • Partner closely with BDMs and Project Directors to transition leads, coordinate meetings, schedule property walkthroughs, and support account penetration plans
  • Participate in weekly pipeline reviews with the office's Regional Manager and provide transparent activity reporting
  • Align daily activity priorities to regional sales strategies and targeted accounts
Operational & Administrative Excellence
  • Maintain CRM hygiene, activity logs, and territory plans
  • Use ATI's sales tools, training programs, and process standards consistently
  • Support BDMs and Regional Managers with storm response campaigns, marketing blitzes, and special initiatives
  • May be asked to travel into impacted areas to canvas for new business
Education And Experience
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in sales, customer service, route-based field roles, or other high-activity commercial positions (preferred but not required)
