Sales Manager

Responsible to develop and foster group business bookings through pro-active direct sales, telemarketing, appointment calls, attending industry networking events, and tours of the hotel. Achieve established monthly room night and activity goals.

• Responsible for an established regional territory or vertical market segment.
• Clear understanding of the hotel’s business strategies and goals to determine action plans.
• Identify new business opportunities.
• Provide quick and timely responses to develop professional long-term business relationships.
• Always provide the highest quality of service to customers.
• Responding to RFP’s, writing Proposals, Contracts and all modifications to documents.
• Account and booking maintenance in property booking software.
• Work closely with the Conference Services Department to effectively meet customer.

• Attend Sales meetings and other hotel department and client meetings as required.
• Submit activity and booking reports to DOS as required.
• Requirements
• Prior Hospitality Sales experience required
• Demonstrates strong organizational skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Willing and able to travel to establish and maintain client networks.
• Ability to think creatively and analytically.
• Capable of creating and maintaining a large client network.
