Labcorp is seeking a Molecular Genetics
Intern to join our Research and Development Team l ocated in Durham, NC

Work Schedule: M-F / 40hrs per week

• Gain hands-on development and troubleshooting experience in a lab setting
• Collaborate with experts across departments to drive innovation and continuous improvement
• Contribute to cross-functional projects

• Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s degree program in Biology, Genetics, Biochemistry or Biomedical Science

• Demonstrate strong attention to detail and willingness to follow laboratory procedures
• Eagerness to learn new laboratory skills and scientific concepts
• Show initiative and the ability to work independently under general supervision
• Maintains professionalism, including punctuality and appropriate conduct
• Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
• Actively participates in training sessions and applies newly learned skills accordingly
• Has experience delivering multiple projects in an academic or professional setting
• Ability to work both independently and with diverse team members
• Excellent communication and organizational skills

The Research and Development Department at RTP supports Laboratory Operations and Clinical Departments through comprehensive assay development, validation, and troubleshooting. Our team also actively collaborates on projects, driving innovation and operational excellence across the company.
