Learn more: As an unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will conduct routine rounds, remain highly visible, and help to deter security-related incidents while supporting patients, visitors, and staff with strong customer service.

- Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out Allied Universal procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, and communicate updates to site contacts and/or emergency responders as directed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter zones to help deter unwanted activity and/or policy violations.
- Monitor access points and visitor flow as assigned, assist with way finding, and report suspicious or unusual activity using site reporting procedures.
- Complete required documentation such as activity logs and incident reports, and participate in shift briefings and/or handoffs to support continuity of post operations.
- Have at least 2 or more years of security‑related experience.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Being comfortable using a computer and/or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
