Part-Time Faculty

Position Summary

Part‑time instructor to teach one course in the 2026 Fall semester beginning in Aug 2026: CTIS 221 Fundamentals of Cyber Security. The course will be taught in‑person on the Guilford campus, MWF 1:00‑2:15.

• Teach the CTIS 221 course, covering the collection, preservation, presentation, and preparation of computer‑ and network‑based evidence for corporate investigation and criminal law enforcement.
• Introduce students to cybercrime, forensic tools, and investigative techniques, including network intrusions, foot printing, computer numbering, financial crimes, and malware.
• Adapt topics based on personal experience and expertise.
• Prepare and deliver instructional materials, assignments, and assessments.
• Maintain course schedule and engage students in a supportive learning environment.

• Master’s degree in Cyber and Network Security or a related field with relevant experience.
• Experience in cybercrime investigation, network forensics, or related disciplines.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to teach effectively in a classroom setting.
