Security Officer – Patrol Operations in Greensboro, NC

Part Time

$12.74 per hour

• Wednesday 08:00 PM – 04:00 AM
• Thursday 08:00 PM – 04:00 AM
• Friday 08:00 PM – 04:00 AM

• Provide customer service to students, staff, faculty, and visitors by carrying out security‑related procedures, location‑specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with campus contacts and/or public responders when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, walkways, parking areas, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and observe campus activity to deter unauthorized entry, assist with directions and information, and report maintenance and security‑related concerns.
• Support campus events and daily operations by following post orders, submitting incident reports, and providing a professional presence throughout the location.

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
