Position OverviewThe purpose of the Enforcement Officer position is to routinely patrol campus using a vehicle equipped with mobile License Plate Recognition to ensure compliance with all State, Federal, and University policies and laws regarding parking. Candidates should have a good understanding of Microsoft Outlook, radio protocol, customer service best practices, and should be comfortable with learning new technology and software.
This position may require occasional weekend or evening work.
Primary Function of Organizational UnitParking and Transportation Services provides transit options to students, faculty, staff and visitors, issues permits to allow lawful parking on the University’s campus, issue citations to motorists in violation of University policies, and maintain University parking and transit infrastructure.
Work Hours8am-5pm, M-F. Occasional weekend or evening work may be required to assist with campus events.
Key Responsibilities and Related CompetenciesThe responsibilities include routine patrols, monitoring parking compliance, issuing citations, and ensuring adherence to university transportation policies. The role requires excellent customer service skills, familiarity with parking technology, and the ability to respond to emergencies.
