Role DescriptionThis is a full-time on-site role located in Greensboro, NC, for a Property Maintenance Engineer 1. The Property Maintenance Engineer 1 will perform routine maintenance and repairs for both interior and exterior property needs. Responsibilities include plumbing repairs, basic electrical work, carpentry, painting, and general upkeep to ensure properties are in optimal condition. You will also be required to respond to maintenance requests, conduct inspections, and ensure safety standards are met at all times.
Qualifications- Proficiency in basic maintenance skills, including plumbing, electrical repairs, carpentry, and painting
- Ability to assess repair needs and perform routine property inspections
- Experience with using hand and power tools safely and effectively
- Strong time management and organizational skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently
- Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and responding to tenant concerns
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues independently and proactively
- High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational or technical training is a plus
- Previous experience in property maintenance or a similar role is preferred
- Commitment to adhering to safety procedures and contributing to a safe work environment
