Plumber, Installation Technician, Maintenance Technician / Mechanic
Immediately Hiring Experienced Plumbers In Greensboro, NC
Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain commercial plumbing systems in accordance with project specifications and applicable plumbing codes.
- Read and interpret blueprints, construction drawings, specifications, and isometric diagrams to plan and execute plumbing installations.
- Install domestic water, sanitary sewer, storm drainage, and vent piping systems in commercial and industrial settings.
- Perform underground rough-ins, above-ground rough-ins, top-out work, and final fixture installations.
- Lay out, measure, cut, thread, and join pipe using appropriate tools and equipment for PVC, CPVC, copper, cast iron, steel, and other piping materials.
- Install water heaters, pumps, interceptors, backflow prevention devices, and specialized plumbing systems, including medical gas where required.
- Conduct pressure testing, inspections, and system troubleshooting to ensure proper operation and compliance with codes and specifications.
- Coordinate daily work activities with project managers, superintendents, and other trades on-site to maintain workflow and project timelines.
- Maintain a safe work environment by following OSHA standards and company safety policies, including proper use of ladders, lifts, scaffolding, and elevated work platforms.
- Mentor and support apprentices and less experienced plumbers by providing guidance, training, and feedback on best practices.
- Complete work efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality, accuracy, and craftsmanship.
- Document work as required and communicate progress, issues, and solutions to project leadership.

This is a contract to hire position based out of Greensboro, NC.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
