Job Description
We are a small construction company in New London, NC seeking a reliable and experienced mechanic to join our team.
Key Responsibilities- Inspect, diagnose, and repair construction equipment and machinery
- Perform routine maintenance and preventative service
- Repair or replace defective parts, components, or systems
- Basic fabrication and welding as needed
- Maintain accurate service records and reports
- Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with company standards
- Proven experience as a heavy equipment or construction mechanic
- Strong understanding of hydraulic systems, electrical systems, and mechanical components
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and service manuals
- Basic welding and fabrication skills preferred
- Valid driver’s license (CDL a plus)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to lift up to 50+ lbs
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
- Ability to stand, bend, and work in tight spaces
This position will be located in New London, NC and pay based on experience
