Pay Range: $32-$44/ per hour

The Plumbing Foreman is responsible for leading field operations, overseeing installation quality, and ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and the ability to effectively manage crews, materials, and project priorities in a fast-paced construction environment.
Typically, this position requires 10 to 12 years of plumbing experience. A Master Plumber License is preferred.
Key Responsibilities Leadership & Team Development- Lead, mentor, and motivate plumbing crews to achieve project goals
- Foster a positive, professional, and team-oriented work environment
- Support employee development through coaching and hands-on training
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with team members, customers, and project stakeholders
- Promote accountability, productivity, and quality workmanship
- Plan, organize, and coordinate daily work activities to meet project schedules and milestones
- Coordinate manpower requirements with Project Managers and other field leaders
- Ensure materials, tools, and equipment are available and used efficiently
- Monitor productivity and job progress to maintain schedule commitments
- Maintain a clean, organized, and productive jobsite
- Oversee all aspects of commercial plumbing installation and workmanship
- Ensure all work complies with applicable codes, specifications, and industry standards
- Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and construction documents
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including change orders and as-built drawings
- Conduct quality inspections and address deficiencies promptly
- Enforce OSHA regulations and company safety policies
- Ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Conduct and participate in jobsite safety meetings
- Identify and proactively address safety concerns and jobsite hazards
- Respond appropriately to incidents and elevate issues when necessary
- Identify project challenges and develop practical solutions
- Make sound decisions to maintain productivity and quality standards
- Anticipate potential issues and resolve them before they impact project schedules
- Escalate complex challenges to project leadership when appropriate
- Communicate effectively with crews, Project Managers, customers, subcontractors, and other trades
- Delegate responsibilities clearly and follow up to ensure successful completion
- Coordinate activities on multi-trade job sites
- Represent Southern Air with professionalism, integrity, and strong customer service
- 10 to 12 years of plumbing experience in commercial or residential construction
- Master Plumber License preferred
- Proven leadership and supervisory experience
- Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, installation methods, applicable codes, and construction practices
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and construction documents
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
