Maintenance Technician Cook Out Restaurants

Are you a “jack-of-all-trades” who enjoys life on the road? Cook Out Restaurants is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Worker to join our team. This isn’t a “sit-behind-a-desk” job—you’ll be the boots on the ground keeping our locations running smoothly across the region.

Travel:
This position requires traveling out of town 50%–75% of the time.

Focus:
You will oversee multiple locations to ensure a safe, clean, and well-maintained environment for our staff and customers.

Maintain Excellence:
Proactively inspect grounds, plumbing, electrical fixtures, and kitchen equipment for preventative maintenance.

Execute Repairs:
Satisfy all work orders from the corporate office in a timely manner, including plumbing, painting, tile work, and carpentry.

Problem Solve:
Identify and make necessary repairs on-site, even if they aren’t on your initial dispatch sheet.

Build Relationships:
Maintain professional, positive communication with restaurant employees, managers, and corporate staff.

Technical Skillset:
Proven experience in plumbing, painting, tile work, and carpentry.

Restaurant

Experience:

A background in restaurant equipment repair is strongly preferred.

Communication:
Ability to read/interpret safety manuals and work orders; strong verbal communication skills.

Reliability:
Must have a clean driving record and the ability to pass a background check.

Critical Thinking:
Ability to solve practical problems efficiently in a variety of situations.
