Assistant Volleyball Coach

Position Overview

Reporting directly to the Head Coach for the Volleyball program, the Assistant Volleyball Coach supports the Head Coach in the administration of a competitive volleyball program that adheres to all University, Conference, and NCAA rules and regulations.

• Provide coaching and administrative assistance to the Head Coach.
• Assist with scouting and recruiting of student‑athletes.
• Assist with promotions and fundraising.
• Monitor the training, academic progress, and eligibility status of student‑athletes.
• Manage team travel and oversee the discipline, conduct, and image of student‑athletes.

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• 1–2 years of collegiate coaching preferred, or at least 1 year of high school/club coaching.
• Minimum of 3 years collegiate coaching experience, or collegiate or professional playing experience, plus high school and club coaching.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Good organizational skills and ability to multi‑task.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel; experience with social media platforms.
