Main Responsibilities
  • Greeting customers and ensuring a great experience while fueling and washing vehicles.
  • Performing vehicle readiness inspections to verify tires, fluids, and other basic maintenance items.
  • Helping keep facilities clean and safe environments for customers and associates.
  • Building skills through training and coaching to perform minor repairs such as installing mounted tires, replacing or rotating tires, and performing preventive maintenance repairs.
  • Completing other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor.

General Requirements
  • High school diploma, equivalent, or prior work experience preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license required.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to work well as part of a team.
  • Ability and willingness to work outside.
  • Basic mechanical ability and tool usage (preferred).
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Extensive compliance with Penske management instructions, guidelines, rules, regulations, and other information.
  • Ability to perform all work in accordance with DOT, OSHA, and Penske safety and maintenance policies.
  • Regular, predictable, full attendance essential.
  • Must meet DOT and safety qualifications, maintain a current driver qualification file, and pass required background checks, drug screening, physical, and other DOT requirements.
  • Willingness to work required schedule, location, and travel for training.

This position is regulated by the Department of Transportation or designated as safety‑sensitive by the company. Associates must be able to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner, accepting responsibility for their own safety and that of others.

Physical Requirements
  • Move frequently; stand, walk, climb, bend, sit for extended periods.
  • Use hands to grasp, reach, handle tools or controls daily.
  • Work safely at heights using ladders and elevated platforms.
  • Work in all weather conditions.
  • See and hear to safely navigate environment amid truck traffic.
  • Lift or move up to 50 lbs (23 kg) regularly and up to 100 lbs (45 kg) occasionally; push/pull truck tires over 100 lbs.
